Sharing Your Faith

My Dear friends,

this is what we do and why we do it.  We believe that as believers we have been called to share the Gospel: Mark 16:15-16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Jesus gives us parables to tell us what the Kingdom of God is like and how it works.  Please keep in mind Jesus is talking about the Gospel, not money!

Mark 4 (KJV)

4 And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land. 2 And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine, 3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: 4 And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. 5 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: 6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. 8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

A Gospel tract is indeed a seed if it contains the word of God: Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Luke 8:11 (KJV)  The word of God is a SEED, Giving a Gospel tract is sowing a seed!  Here is another illustration Jesus used: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed planted in a field. Matthew 13:31 (NLT).  You do not have any control over the ground.  Some will tell you NO, so what, plant more. When that seed falls on good ground it will produce fruit and even more than you could possibly imagine; some 30 some 60 some 100 fold, wow that is amazing! From your one single tract that took you less than 1 second!  This is exciting! The lowly Gospel tract has the power of God’s word, it has the opportunity to bring forth fruit!  Will it be given to people who could care less, or could say NO, you bet. This is encouraging because all you have to do is plant the seed.  God will bring the increase. Trust God’s word to work: So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 (ESV)

We are so encouraged by this understanding of sowing the Gospel seed that we want to share this with you because it has been shown that only 2% of Christians share their faith.  Why?? I believe it’s because we are shy, afraid to and have a fear of rejection.  So, we end up doing nothing and think well it’s up to the Evangelist.  No, it’s up to us!  We have been commissioned by Jesus to do it.  Let me ask you, can you drop a million dollar bill tract on the sidewalk? Can you give someone a postcard?  You don’t have to say anything.  However God will open doors as we are faithful.  If we just do something.  Charles Spurgeon a very well educated preacher of the Gospel once said, “My brethren, just do something, do something, do something!”  We will show you how easy it is.  Let us show you.

“Nothing surpasses a tract for sowing the seed of the Good News.”– Billy Graham

And finally I leave you this last Bible verse….

But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? Romans 10:14 (NLT)

Contact us today, so we can help you fulfill the great commission in your own life and plant seeds that will lead others to Christ.

Sincerely,
Yours in Christ,
Stephen Winter
